Believe It or Not! Easter Lesson [Elementary]

The world is full of “fake news” and hoaxes. It’s hard to believe what you see or hear anymore. Doubt and unbelief are big issues for many people.

The truth is, we all struggle with doubts from time to time. Sometimes, it’s even easy to doubt some of the main truths of the Bible - like that Jesus died and rose again. Sadly, we choose to hide our doubts because we are ashamed and think they make us less of a Christian.

Instead, we should admit our doubts to God and ask Him to help us overcome them with faith. The truth is - even if we doubt Jesus rose from the dead, it doesn’t change the truth that He did!

Through the story of Thomas and Jesus’ Resurrection, the children will learn Jesus does not get angry when we doubt. He does want to help us overcome our doubt and replace it with strong faith.
