SURPRISE! Easter [Elementary]

Jesus took the world by SURPRISE when He showed up on the scene 2,000 years ago. Never before had the world seen such power, love, and holiness.

Jesus’ disciples were equally as SURPRISED when Jesus was crucified and died on the cross. They expected Jesus to overthrow the Roman government. Instead, He was in the grave.

But nothing could equal the SURPRISE that the world experienced the very first Easter Sunday morning. The tomb was empty, and Jesus was alive!

In this lesson, the children will learn that Jesus is the SURPRISE that the world needed. If they put their faith in Him, He will forgive their sin and give them new life!
