Many children have seen people at church take Communion, but many of them have no idea what it means.
In this lesson, the children will learn that it all started on the last night of Jesus’ life, during a meal called “The Last Supper.” Jesus and His disciples met to share one last meal together. Jesus led the disciples in eating bread and drinking juice as a ceremony that would help them remember Him and what He was about to do for everyone.
The children will learn what the bread and the juice represent. They will learn about these important elements and remember what Jesus has done for them.
