We have all been given specific talents and abilities. We are all different—with different personalities and gifts—but we are all part of the family of God, the "body of Christ." In this lesson, children will learn to use what God has given them to build His Kingdom. They must make the important choice to "Get In The Game!" Based on Acts 6:1-7 and Ephesians 4:11-12.
This Easter lesson teaches kids that when Jesus was placed in the tomb, it seemed like the path to every hope and dream was completely CLOSED. This world is full of people whose hearts are closed to Jesus, but through the power of the resurrection, they can OPEN their hearts to Him and experience forgiveness and new life! Based on the Gospels and Revelation 3:20.
Many children have seen people at church take Communion, but have no idea what it means. They will learn what the bread and juice represent and remember what Jesus has done for them. Based on 1 Corinthians 11:26.
When choosing friends, we tend to pick those who think like us and tell us what we want to hear—but true friends speak the truth even when it hurts! Through the story of King David and the prophet Nathan, kids will learn that a true friend is willing to confront us when we are wrong. Based on 2 Samuel 11-12 and Galatians 4:16.
Water Baptism has been an important part of the Christian life for thousands of years, but many children don't fully understand its purpose. Through the story of Jesus' baptism, this lesson clears up common misunderstandings kids have about water baptism and helps them understand how wonderful an experience it can be. Based on Mark 1:4-11 and Acts 2:38.

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Children will learn that Jesus is our "Way in a Manger." Based on Luke 2:4-20 and John 14:6.
