Fresh Start [Preschool]

Some people feel like once they accept Jesus as their Savior and they are going to Heaven, they can just go right back to sinning and living for themselves. That’s not what Jesus taught us to do. If we belong to Him, we are to REPENT.

To repent means “to turn around and go the opposite direction.” That means that even though you once were headed your own way and sinning, when you repent, you turn around and head GOD’S way and start doing right.

It doesn’t matter what you have done in the past; Jesus can give you a FRESH START. That’s what the children are going to learn about in this lesson. They will learn the story of one of Jesus’ disciples, Matthew. When Matthew began following Jesus, he left his old life behind. His WHOLE LIFE was made brand new! He got a FRESH START!
