Christmas is one of the most exciting times of the year! Kids can’t wait for the presents, the lights, the cookies, and all the fun that comes with the season. But as wonderful as those things are, that’s not what Christmas is really about. Christmas is about celebrating the moment when God’s greatest promise came true: the birth of His Son, Jesus.

Hundreds of years before that first Christmas night, the prophet Isaiah told the world that a Savior was coming. He didn’t know His name would be Jesus, but God gave Isaiah a glimpse of what He would be like. Isaiah described Him with powerful names like Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.

In this series, kids will discover what each of those names means and how they show who Jesus really is. From His amazing power to His endless love, every name tells us more about our Savior.

And as the series concludes, we’ll learn one more name that ties it all together: Emmanuel, which means “God With Us.”
