One of the world’s most famous holidays is New Year’s Day. The reason it is so popular is because it gives us a chance to “turn the page” on the calendar and begin a new year. No matter how things went in the past year, a new year lies ahead with new possibilities.
Sadly, many people allow things in their past to keep them from moving forward to the future that God has for them. Whether it is a past failure, hurtful words, or a betrayal - these things tend to keep people from “turning the page.”
In this lesson, the children will learn from the story of Moses and the burning bush that trusting God with our future can be life-changing. We must “turn the page” and leave the past behind.
