“T.H.I.N.K. Before You Speak!” This series is designed to help children understand the power and impact of their words. Each lesson explores what it means to use our words wisely and how God wants us to speak in ways that build others up and reflect His love. In this series, kids will learn to ask themselves five essential questions before they speak: Is what I’m about to say True, Helpful, Inspiring, Necessary, and Kind?
Words have the potential to do great good or cause great harm. Proverbs 18:21 reminds us that “the tongue has the power of life and death,” so it is important to choose our words carefully. In this series, children will discover that when they speak truthfully and with kindness, they can encourage and uplift those around them. But when they use words carelessly or unkindly, they can hurt others and damage relationships. Each lesson teaches one aspect of the T.H.I.N.K. acronym, teaching kids how to put these principles into practice in their daily lives.
It’s not just about avoiding negative speech but also about actively choosing words that honor God and bless others. By the end of these lessons, children will be equipped with tools to think before they speak, ensuring that their words are always a reflection of God’s goodness and love.
We pray that your kids will become examples of Jesus as they T.H.I.N.K. before they speak!
