Many children have seen the members of their congregation at church take Communion, but many of them have no idea what it means.

In this lesson, the children will learn it all started back on the last night of Jesus’ life during something called “The Last Supper.”  Jesus and His disciples met together to eat one last meal as a group.   Jesus led the disciples in eating bread and drinking juice as a ceremony that would help them remember Him and what He was about to do for all mankind.

Today, the children will learn what the bread and the juice represent.  They will learn about these important elements and remember what Jesus has done for them.
