In today’s “gimme” society, entitlement runs wild.  It’s not unusual for people, including children, to have the “What’s in it for me?” mentality. It’s easy for all of us to forget that “every good and perfect gift comes from above.”  We go through life  experiencing God’s miraculous provision and forget to express gratitude and thankfulness.

This is a perfect lesson for the Thanksgiving Weekend. In this lesson, the children will learn from the story of the Ten Lepers— only one of which came back to thank Jesus for the miracle. They will learn that God’s children should always remember to thank Him for everything He has done and will continue
