The issue of “gender identity” is one that is confusing to kids.  The world says, “You can be whatever gender you want to be.  If you are unhappy with your biological sex, you can just choose to become the opposite sex.”

In the wake of this, children and teens are confused.  They don’t know whether to believe society or the Bible.  They aren’t sure whether to trust their feelings or trust the Word of God.

The Church cannot run from this issue.   We must boldly proclaim to children that God knew exactly what He was doing when He carefully created and formed them in their mother’s womb.  God’s plan from the beginning was to create male and female - in His image.

In this lesson, the children will learn from the creation story that every boy and girl is a masterpiece created in the image of God.
