Being forgotten is a horrible feeling. Sadly, there are many people in this world who are forgotten. The poor, the sick, the lonely – we often forget all about them. We forget that they need our help.
The worst thing is when people who don’t know Jesus are FORGOTTEN. When Christians go about their daily lives and completely forget about the fact that God has called us to show His love to those who don’t know Jesus, it breaks God’s heart.
In this series, we are going to talk about how important it is that we never forget “The Great Commission.” That’s the instruction found in Matthew 28:19, 20 – “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
That’s our job – and it should NEVER be forgotten. In this series, the children are going to learn why SOMETIMES people forget their job as Christians. We must share Jesus with the whole world!
