Promises, Promises

We live in a world full of empty promises. People say one thing and do another. Companies advertise for one thing, and what you get is something else. Even the people we love fail us sometimes.

In a world in which promises often turn out to be merely words, it has become very difficult to trust anyone. That’s what happened to Abraham and Sarah. When they found out God promised them they would have a baby, it sounded too good to be true. But they found out soon that what God promises, He will do.

In this lesson, the children will learn that God isn’t like us humans - God cannot lie. God ALWAYS tells the truth, and that means we can trust His promises, no matter what!
